Even though I took the day off work & it was a day without pay, I had a good day!
**Got a rental vehicle (only took 47 calls to insurance, a trip to the car rental place at 5 pm, & a multitude of patience).
**Found out my spine is now 17 mm to the right instead of 4 mm to the right and my hips are out of place. Glad I'm not paying for these chiropractor visits!
**Got the kids new books at Sam's book fair.
**My crowning jewel: Landed 800 sq ft of sod, in Hyrum, for FREE! Yay, I can have a front yard sooner!! (I now may become a ksl.com junkie ;) )

Update
I didn't feel hurt at all on Wednesday night after my accident. Thursday morning was a whole other story! When I got up on Thursday, my left arm was hurting. As the day went by, it began to hurt a lot more. I had about 4 people tell me my left arm looked swollen up by the elbow. So, Thursday night I convinced my sister to take me to InstaCare. InstaCare told me to go to the ER. The ER blew me off. The dr. told me, "You don't have any bones sticking out and there aren't any major spinal cord injuries. And besides, anything major would have been obvious right after the accident. You'll be fine." I told the nurse I wasn't impressed with the dr. and would they please x-ray my arm. They x-rayed my shoulder (duh). 45 minutes after my x-ray the nurse comes back in and asks if the dr. had come in and talked to me about my x-rays to which I had the pleasure of replying "no." She told me my x-rays looked fine and I could go. They sent me home with a sling and told me to take Tylenol with my Ibuprofen 800. Still wasn't that impressed. Friday I went in to see this dr. that my parents go to. He told me I have deep tissue bruising in my left arm and elbow and that it's going to take quite a bit of time to heal. He gave me about 10 Lortab for the pain. He also told me the injury is equivalent to tennis elbow and that I should get a tennis elbow arm band to wear during the day. Still working on that one & am thankful for the Lortab. Taking Monday off work to deal with insurance, go back to the chiropractor to see my x-rays & hopefully baby my arm a bit more than what I have been! Thank goodness Trav comes home Tuesday!

Ever have one of those days?
I was on my way home from work, minding my own business. I was following behind 1 or 2 other cars. The car in front of me passed the west entrance to the Hyrum grocery store. The lady sitting in the entrance waiting to come out, begins to pull out. I start thinking she isn't going to stop. I begin moving toward oncoming traffic. The lady from the entrance pulls out and t bones me & proceeds to push me down the road. Oh goody. Now I've totaled my car, am late to pick kids up from daycare, miss my chiropractor appointment (have barely been able to move for about 5 days) and Sam misses dance class! Oh, and did I mention that I was on my way home after the lockdown order on my school was finally lifted??
If the kids would have been with me, Samantha & Caleb would have taken the brunt of the force. The passenger side window shattered & covered me with glass.
It's a good thing I was able to get a hold of my brother to come pick me up. Unfortunatley for him, he was the one that had to wake up my dad (who swings in his sleep).
Can you see where my brand NEW windshield is shattered too?
Notice the dashboard & how it's up about an inch more than what it should be?
You can see my "souviners" as the highway patrolman called them, sitting on the passenger seat too.
You can see the cracks in the brand NEW windshield in this picture too. Can you tell I'm a bit bent out of shape about the windshield?
I think what makes me the most mad isn't that I was hit. It's that we just put in $150 windshield, replaced a $75 park break, paid $100 registration, paid for 2 inspections at $17 each & I just filled it with $26 in gas tonight too!

See how even the back door is sticking out? That door wouldn't even open either.
Like the black scrap down the entire side of my car?I think what makes me the most mad isn't that I was hit. It's that we just put in $150 windshield, replaced a $75 park break, paid $100 registration, paid for 2 inspections at $17 each & I just filled it with $26 in gas tonight too!

Baby Animal Days at AWHC
We decided to go to Baby Animal Days today. I've wanted to take the kids since Sam was about 18 months. This was the first year there hasn't been snow and/or mud a foot deep. I ended up buying us a family gold membership. Now I'll be sending Sam to some summer camps at a discounted price & I have a feeling we'll be visiting AWHC nearly weekly during the summer! Good thing the kids like corn mazes!
