I'm excited! I didn't know if I would get enough strawberries out of our strawberry patch to make any strawberry jam. My kids eat the strawberries so fast they are generally gone in the blink of an eye! I haven't made strawberry jam in a long, long time. I usually only make raspberry jam because that's what the kids love the most. Maybe I can convince them that strawberry is just as good! And the best part? The strawberries came from our patch (aka I didn't have to buy them!). I think I'll have to end up buying raspberries from Week's Farm though because I don't know if my mom's patch will get enough raspberries this year. If I could get enough strawberries & raspberries from my own patches to make all the jam my kids go through, I'd be in 7th heaven! Not to mention I'd have a few more dollars in my pocket!
