Ok, so you all know Travis wants to name this baby Travis Jr. & call him TJ, right? Well, the other day I made the comment that people keep asking me what we're going to name him. He said, "Ok, if you don't want to name him TJ, how about Sivart?" Yes, he actually said Sivart. When I asked him where the heck that came from he said, "It's Travis backwards." Yea...like I'm going to actually name my kid Sivart!! He told me, "That's my compromise." I quickly informed him that Sivart, is in NO WAY a compromise!
Then tonight on the way home from the Hyrum fireworks I mentioned that the baby must have liked them because he was kicking quite a bit. When I asked the kids what they thought we should name their brother, they both said, "Caleb." When I asked, "How about Sivart? How about TJ?" They both adamantly stated, "NO. Caleb." So, now Travis is outnumbered 3 to 1. I told the kids it's a good thing their dad doesn't hold veto power in our house! Travis tried to convince us that he does, unfortunately for him, we all know better than that! Aside from him not actually holding veto power, I'm the one that fills out all the paper work, so I have the last say anyway!!
So, I think this baby will be named Caleb Travis Bown. Now that the fireworks have started, Samantha asks me several times a day if it's time for the baby to be born yet because when we first told her she was going to have a brother or sister & she asked how long before he'd be here, we told her he wouldn't be here until after the fireworks. I don't think it's helped that I have bags packed & sitting by the door for the kids & I!
Happy 4th of July!
