Kankles

Ok, I know I've said it before, but here is proof that the kankles are here & they're here to stay for what seems like for ever! They first appeared about a month ago so when I say it feels like forever, 2-3 months of this feels like FOREVER!

For those that are unfamiliar with a kankle: A kankle is what used to be your ankle but is now so large that you can't tell where your foot ends & your leg starts. Yes, it hurts to walk on, especially first thing in the morning. No, I cannot wiggle my toes. Yes, it hurts to bend at the former location of my ankle. Once you develop kankles, Travis will begin to call you Pregosaurus to your face. Ah, the joys of pregnancy & motherhood!!

These pix were taken at 12:30 am. I haven't been on my feet any more today than on a normal day but I didn't sit down & take it easy all day either. Unfortunately, when I wake up in the morning, it doesn't look much better than this.

Misty Misy! I didn't know you were having another baby. I don't feel too bad that I gain weight fast, it doesn't bother me, I just think it is funny. I also think it is amazing that anyone can gain less than 30 pounds while they are pregnant. . . that isn't me! :)

Misty those are beautiful Kankles you have.... I think that you should have a day off your feet and be pampered! Although you may need it more once the baby has already come! Of course you could always have one before and one after! ;)

I put you on my blogs on my google read account, so now I'll check and see what you are up to. Here is my e-mail. :) tanniedatwyler@yahoo.com
You are hilarious about getting huge and all that - it is a good thing that you have a good sense of humor. I had someone tell me when I was 32 weeks that I was going to get huge and I was ticked off. :)
