Another day, another project

My mom made these cute crayon holders for all the grandkids for Christmas this year & gave them a huge coloring book to go with it. My kids have loved theirs - especially my artist, Nash.

My sister was looking at the pillowcase dresses & decided she wanted me to do one for her niece for her birthday. Then she decided she wanted a crayon holder too (she thought I made them). So, without a pattern, here is my attempt!
I'm surprised at how easy it was. I think I might need to make a few for my etsy site to see if they'll sell. I just used a scrap of fabric I had from one of the reversible bags I made.

Very cute! Suggestion: make them to hold 24 crayons, as that is the most common package to purchase.

We were going to, but it makes them super bulky that way. I was thinking of adapting it so it held 12 crayons since you can buy those pkgs & leave a pocket for a notepad.
